Twisted Flesh, my first solo museum exhibition
Hello dear friends and lovers of art!
For the past six years I have been on a journey exploring the relationship that we as people have with our physical selves. While on this journey, I have been blessed to meet many incredible people and have had wonderful, sometimes life-changing experiences. A lot of love, time, work and money has gone into making this project come to life. Now I am about to take the next step and exhibit this project in the Fine Arts Museum from my birth town of Timisoara, Romania.
The exhibition opens September 28th, 2012 and lasts until October 12, 2012.

Midnight
Today I have the pleasure of presenting you the messiest and most logistically difficult shoot I have done so far: 6 models, 2 assistants, a whole lot of black paint and 3 days of clean-up in my very white studio. As a side-note, the images are in fact full colour, not black&white. But everything in the images is or has been painted black ;)

Elysian Fields
Hello fellow deviants!
Since I started working with models seriously in 2006, I've been absolutely fascinated by the notion of using the human figure as an artistic medium in itself. Going beyond sculpture, painting and photography as individual means to convey an idea, emotion or feeling I sought to combine them and push my craft much further than before. Having done a few shoots in the past in this style, I can say with confidence that Elysian Fields was the one that finally brought on that sense of achievement. A culmination of my experiments so far and a first step into the next level of my visual exploration.

I'm really loving the new macro experimentation I've been doing of late. I've decided to kind of throw out all the rules and really play with this. Composition, focus, concept, it's all fair game.
