Hello fellow deviants!
Since I started working with models seriously in 2006, I've been absolutely fascinated by the notion of using the human figure as an artistic medium in itself. Going beyond sculpture, painting and photography as individual means to convey an idea, emotion or feeling I sought to combine them and push my craft much further than before. Having done a few shoots in the past in this style, I can say with confidence that Elysian Fields was the one that finally brought on that sense of achievement. A culmination of my experiments so far and a first step into the next level of my visual exploration.
The model, Fie, one of my favorite people to work with was perfect for this shoot. Having already established a great trust in our working relationship, I knew I could allow myself to let go and comfortably take this step with her.
